Diocesan pilgrimage to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

Bishop Loverde has invited cursillistas to join with others in our diocese to participate in the diocesan pilgrimage to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, D.C. on Saturday, October 8, 2011, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The pilgrimage takes place every two years and this year’s theme is “Come, Worship the King of Kings!” A detailed schedule for the day and other information is available on the diocesan web site: (http://arlingtondiocese.org/worship/pilgrimage/index.php). We are also asked to bring a small banner that can be displayed on a pole with a stand at the closing Mass at 1:00pm. Pledge cards are being distributed to present an opportunity to commit to praying daily the Rosary and to spending time with Our Lord in the Eucharistic Adoration, These cards are available along with the other information.
